Our Leadership Team
Board of Directors
The Board of Directors is the governing body of the Junior League of San Francisco, Inc. (JLSF), responsible for driving its mission to advance women’s leadership and to govern through three core legal responsibilities of ensuring the organization serves its public purpose, remains financially solvent, and complies with all laws. Comprised of elected leaders, the Board sets strategic goals, oversees financial stewardship, and guides focus areas like housing, food, and essential needs.
Councils and Chairs
The Councils and Chairs of JLSF are responsible for the day-to-day operational activities of the League, and they implement the strategic initiatives developed by the Board of Directors while aligning their work across teams, optimizing collaboration and efficiencies, and keeping the board updated regularly on current operations and processes. They ensure that activities continue to reflect the JLSF’s mission and focus area by providing recommendations and goals to the Board. Councils report directly to the Executive Vice-President.
