Join us to decorate the World Tree of Hope at Grace Cathedral with JLSF! Volunteers will create origami peace cranes, wire ornaments, attach them to the tree, and adjust the lights. Don’t worry—you don’t need to know how to fold origami to help!
Rainbow World Fund’s mission is to promote peace, unity, and hope by leading the LGBTQ+ community in humanitarian relief efforts.
This event counts towards the application requirement of attending a Junior League event and offers a glimpse into the types of volunteer opportunities you can expect as a JLSF member!
Important Notes:
- Attendees will need to sign a Code of Conduct Form prior to the event.
- Advanced registration is required.
- Please arrive by 9:45 AM to sign the form and have time to chat before the event begins.

Please note: Grace Cathedral has accessible entrances through the double glass doors at 1051 Taylor Street immediately north of the great steps. After entering through the double glass doors at 1051 Taylor Street, continue forward along the hall and immediately take the first left. If you find the corridor doors closed, this means the Cathedral is closed. If the corridor is open, continue towards the Women’s Restroom, turn right and continue down the hall. Eventually, you will come to an elevator on your right. Take the elevator to the first floor and you will be on the main floor of Grace Cathedral.
